about
Tucker Wilde is an incredibly talented and diverse DJ and Electro-Soul producer. After moving to Boulder, CO in 2009 and having his first taste of electronic music, Tucker jumped right into the scene. Starting as a DJ, Tucker found success performing and producing with childhood friend and fellow CU student Hunter Phillips. The two teamed up to create a live, high energy Electro-House group called THiCK CHiCK. THiCK CHiCK took off locally, where the two took full advantage of the ample opportunities to support national acts like Skrillex, Porter Robinson, Zedd, Empire of the Sun, Boombox, and 12th Planet to name a few.
Shortly after, and nearly 3 years since moving to Colorado, THiCK CHiCK performed at Global Dance Festival (Red Rocks Amphitheater), Snowball Music Festival (Avon, CO) and later embarked on an 18 show tour supporting Robotic Pirate Monkey along the California coast.
THiCK CHiCK separated in March 2012 due to creative differences and Tucker began his solo project, T.Wilde. Heavily influenced by other Colorado artists such as Pretty Lights, Michal Menert, Robotic Pirate Monkey, and having performed very few shows independently, T.Wilde has spent the duration of the last year and a half in the studio.
Tucker’s tracks are as animated and diverse as his stage presence, spanning multiple genres and incorporating multiple production styles. T.Wilde is set to release his newest EP, ‘Through the Ways’, on August 28th with Philos Records.
